Volleyball Recap: Gardendale Triumphs

Gardendale posted their closest victory since October 3, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Montevallo Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory made it two in a row for Gardendale and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Montevallo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Gardendale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Tuscaloosa County on the 6th. As for Montevallo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Tuscaloosa Academy on the 6th.
