Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Ellington last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Blue Devils had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Knights. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Weaver, who bounced back after a loss on the road on September 12th. They came out on top against Haddam-Killingworth by a score of 30-23 on Friday.

Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray better focus on containing Kadain Claflin-Coy and JJ Perry as the pair were huge in Weaver's win. Claflin-Coy rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, while Perry rushed for 90 yards and one TD. Jaiden Booth was in the mix as well, providing Weaver with one score.

The win got Weaver back to even at 1-1. As for Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
