Volleyball Recap: Lompoc Comes Up Short at Home Against Santa Ynez

Lompoc unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Santa Ynez Pirates on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-3, 25-7.

Santa Ynez now has a winning record of 2-1.

After both having extra time off, Lompoc and Valley Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 5:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Santa Ynez, they will venture away from home to challenge Nipomo at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th.
