Oregon City won the last time they faced Lakeridge and things went their way on Monday too. The Pioneers came out on top against the Pacers by a score of 13-8.

Ellie Joseph made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Joseph was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

In other batting news, Maggie Schneider was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Chloe Stromme, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Oregon City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Oregon City's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Lakeridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season.
