Central Valley Christian has gone 8-1 against Hanford West recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Central Valley Christian Cavaliers will head out to face off against the Hanford West Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Central Valley Christian took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Wednesday. They came out on top against Monache by a score of 7-3. That looming 7-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cavaliers yet this season.

Will Salisbury tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He is becoming a predictor of Central Valley Christian's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
On the hitting side, Brody Pimental was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2024. Teague Brandenburg was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Hanford West sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Bakersfield on Tuesday.
The team relied heavily on Ben Ritchie, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sam Sandoval, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Hanford West's record is now 4-2. As for Central Valley Christian, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Central Valley Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hanford West struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Central Valley Christian's way against Hanford West when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Central Valley Christian made off with a 13-3 victory.
