Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Menchville

Heritage is 0-8 against Menchville since March of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Hurricanes will welcome the Monarchs at 4:00 p.m. Heritage has given up an average of 7.3 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Heritage is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 9-1 to Woodside.

Meanwhile, Menchville kept a clean sheet against Kecoughtan on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 7-0 win. Menchville haven't had any issues with Kecoughtan recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Menchville, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Heritage suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Menchville in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Hurricanes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
