Football Recap: JW North Huskies vs. Poly Bears
JW North was the 42-14 winner over Poly when they last played one another back in November of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The JW North Huskies fell 26-14 to the Poly Bears on Friday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Although JW North took the loss, they still got scores from Denavyah Garcia and Calvin Rivers.
JW North's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. JW North will venture away from home to challenge King at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Poly, they will head out on the road to take on Sultana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Poly is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
