Basketball Game Preview: Tocoi Creek Toros vs. Nease Panthers

The Tocoi Creek Toros and the Nease Panthers will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Thursday, Tocoi Creek humbled Oakleaf with a 57-23 victory. The Toros have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Nease beat Hilliard 57-49 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Tocoi Creek pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.3 points. As for Nease, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Tocoi Creek strolled past Nease in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 55-38. Will Tocoi Creek repeat their success, or does Nease have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
