Basketball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Warren Woods-Tower on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Warren Woods-Tower Titans 61-57. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2018.

New Haven has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Warren Woods-Tower, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

New Haven will take on Port Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New Haven knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Port Huron likes a good challenge. As for Warren Woods-Tower, they will face off against Sterling Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
