Basketball Recap: Tornillo's Losing Streak Snapped at 29 Games

Tornillo came into Tuesday's contest having lost 29 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Fort Hancock Mustangs by a score of 30-21 on Tuesday. For the Coyotes, this counts as revenge for the 40-20 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Tornillo's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Fort Hancock, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Tornillo will head out on the road to challenge Fort Hancock at 5:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Fort Hancock, they will be taking part in a tournament against Van Horn at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
