Basketball Game Preview: Grandville Bulldogs vs. Northview Wildcats

The Grandville Bulldogs will welcome the Northview Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Grandville was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 25-24 to Hudsonville. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Eagles are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, Northview earned a 55-43 victory over Christian on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Grandville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

Grandville strolled past Northview when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 47-31. Will Grandville repeat their success, or does Northview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
