Preview: East Bernard Brahmas vs. Harmony School of Discovery Tigers
East Bernard is 9-0 against the Tigers since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The East Bernard Brahmas will head out on the road to face off against the Harmony School of Discovery Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, East Bernard lost to the Cougars on the road by a decisive 48-31 margin.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Joshua Guthman, who scored 11 points. Maddox Crist was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Harmony School of Discovery, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 71-31 loss at the hands of Boling. Harmony School of Discovery has not had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Harmony School of Discovery saw an underclassman step up: Adedayo Adelakum scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Adelakum is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Messiah Graves, who scored five points along with five rebounds and two steals.
East Bernard's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Harmony School of Discovery, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
Everything came up roses for East Bernard against the Tigers in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 81-24 win. With East Bernard ahead 39-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
