Baseball Recap: Brick Township Comes Up Short

Brick Township couldn't beat Notre Dame on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Dragons lost 15-5 to the Irish.

Brick Township saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Donoghue, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Brick Township has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Notre Dame, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Brick Township will face off against Southern Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Notre Dame, they will square off against East Brunswick at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
