Braxton Clem posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Salt Fork's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 4-6 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Clem and Salt Fork will face off against Cissna Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Storm are a perfect 4-0 against the Timberwolves going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
