Oldham County dropped their record down to 29-7 on Friday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Assumption Rockets by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Colonels have suffered since April 22, 2024.

Natalie Cheatham was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Batts, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one double.
