Basketball Game Preview: Bucyrus Redmen vs. Upper Sandusky Rams

Bucyrus hasn't had much luck against Upper Sandusky recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bucyrus Redmen will host the Upper Sandusky Rams at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Bucyrus is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Saturday. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-51 heartbreaker at the hands of Wynford. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Redmen have suffered since January 8th.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Upper Sandusky's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (50-38), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Bucyrus' loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Upper Sandusky, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Bucyrus might still be hurting after the 83-62 loss they got from Upper Sandusky when the teams last played back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bucyrus was down 46-25.
