Softball Recap: Blair Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Blair Academy had lost four games at home, but after bumping their record up to 8-8 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Hill School Rams 10-2. The Bucs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

As for Hill School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games.

For Hill School's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Willow Gall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Gall has snagged this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blair Academy will venture away from home to face off against The Pingry School on Tuesday. As for Hill School, they will head out to take on Germantown Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
