Softball Recap: Sabetha Bluejays vs. Haven Wildcats

Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 11-6 to the Haven Wildcats.

Kiera Keim made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jyllian Stapleton, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Sabetha's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. Haven has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Sabetha and Haven will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Sabetha will square off against rival St. Marys at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Haven is set to challenge their familiar foe Smoky Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
