Soccer Game Preview: Southeast Polk vs. Des Moines Christian

The Southeast Polk Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Des Moines Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southeast Polk's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Southeast Polk is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell just short of Waukee by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Des Moines Christian was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Bondurant-Farrar could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Southeast Polk's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-2. Des Moines Christian's draw makes their record 9-1-1 this season.
