Basketball Recap: Turtle Lake Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Turtle Lake kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ellsworth Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Lakers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Turtle Lake still got an impressive performance from Lexi Tarman, who shot 45% from the field en route to 26 points along with six boards and four steals.

Looking ahead, Turtle Lake is taking a road trip to take on Bruce at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ellsworth, they will welcome Boyceville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
