Volleyball Recap: Air Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Air Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the University Bulldogs on Friday, falling 3-0.

Air Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-14.

Elly Siebert paced Air Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Siebert got some help from Audrey Husemann and her 11 assists. Camillia Caldwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Leading University to victory were Madison Nation and Livianna Aguilar. Nation had 11 digs and one assist, while Aguilar had 15 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Nation has posted since back in October.

Air Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-12. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Air Academy nor University have any future games scheduled.
