Softball Preview: Millbury Woolies vs. Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles
After three games on the road, Millbury is heading back home. They will take on the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ava McLeod made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. McLeod has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season. McLeod was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Kathleen Galvin was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. Madelyn Glynn was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Millbury has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
