Softball Recap: Fort Mill Gets the Win

Fort Mill won the last time they faced Rock Hill and things went their way on Friday too. The Yellow Jackets came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

The team relied heavily on Brooke Rosario, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Moore, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The victory got Fort Mill back to even at 10-10. As for Rock Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fort Mill is set to challenge their familiar foe Northwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rock Hill will take on rival Nation Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
