Basketball Game Preview: Titusville Rockets vs. Conneaut Area Eagles

The Titusville Rockets are taking a road trip to challenge the Conneaut Area Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Titusville is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Titusville is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Franklin on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Titusville was beaten by Franklin 70-13. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 701st, while the Knights are ranked 313th).

Meanwhile, Conneaut Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 65-52 to Corry.

Conneaut Area's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Titusville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Titusville was taken down by Conneaut Area 79-32 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Titusville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
