Worthington Kilbourne has gone a perfect 3-0 against Hayes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wolves will square off against the Pacers at 6:45 p.m. Worthington Kilbourne will be strutting in after a win while Hayes will be coming in after a loss.

Worthington Kilbourne had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Dublin Scioto on Tuesday. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Irish.

Worthington Kilbourne walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Hayes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Big Walnut.

Hayes was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Hayes saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isaac Hollingsworth had eight digs and two assists. Brysen Thomas also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

Worthington Kilbourne's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-6. As for Hayes, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Worthington Kilbourne's way against Hayes when the teams last played on April 1st, as Worthington Kilbourne made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
