Soccer Game Preview: Norrix vs. Hudsonville

The Norrix Knights will face off against the Hudsonville Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Norrix will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Norrix proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 11) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Lakeshore get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Norrix's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Meanwhile, Hudsonville was able to grind out a solid win over West Ottawa on Thursday, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Hudsonville in their matchups with West Ottawa: they've now won nine in a row.

Norrix's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matches. As for Hudsonville, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.
