Forsan has gone a perfect 4-0 against Christoval recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Buffaloes will host the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Forsan came out on top against Nazareth on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run third inning. The Buffaloes put the hurt on the Swifts with a sharp 11-5 win. Considering the Buffaloes have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Christoval waltzed into their contest on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bulldogs 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since March 25th.

Blaze Webber was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Tucker Boness was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Christoval pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Forsan, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7-2.

Everything went Forsan's way against Christoval in their previous matchup back in May of 2021, as Forsan made off with a 14-7 win. Do the Buffaloes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
