Basketball Game Preview: Neshaminy Skins vs. Council Rock South Golden Hawks

For the first time this season, Neshaminy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to square off against the Council Rock South Golden Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neshaminy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Council Rock South likes a good challenge.

Neshaminy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They secured a 64-59 W over Whitehall.

Logan Gale had an outrageously good game as he shot 60% from the field en route to 27 points and six boards. His morning made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Amrhein, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 15 points.

Meanwhile, Council Rock South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Great Valley.

Neshaminy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Council Rock South, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Neshaminy came up short against Council Rock South in their previous matchup back in January, falling 65-61. Can the Skins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
