Volleyball Game Preview: Northwood Timberwolves vs. University Trojans

The Northwood Timberwolves will take on the University Trojans at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Northwood will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Northwood barely beat Sage Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Timberwolves blew past the Lightning 3-0 on Tuesday.

Northwood never let Sage Hill on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, University came up short against Woodbridge on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 21-25, 25-18.

University's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Northwood, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Northwood skirted past University 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
