The St. Joseph's Academy Angels will head out on the road to square off against the Marquette Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
St. Joseph's Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Cor Jesu Academy, who was ranked 11th at the time (St. Joseph's Academy was ranked 17th). The Angels took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers last Wednesday. The Angels' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-16.

Frankie Vonderahe put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 16 digs and two assists. Vonderahe is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Marquette got the win against Kirkwood on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won four in a row.
While Marquette won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-23.
St. Joseph's Academy better keep an eye on Camille Plunkett. She was instrumental in Marquette's win, getting seven digs and two aces. What's more, Plunkett racked up 17 assists, the most she's had since back in September.
St. Joseph's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 19-10-1. As for Marquette, their win bumped their record up to 18-16.
