Basketball Recap: Jeffers Takes a Loss

Jeffers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the L'Anse Purple Hornets, falling 74-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Jets have suffered against the Purple Hornets since February 18, 2021.

Jeffers' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for L'Anse, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jeffers will face off against Lake Linden-Hubbell at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Linden-Hubbell will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jeffers surely won't give up without a fight. As for L'Anse, they will take on Forest Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
