Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Bountiful's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Bountiful won the last time they faced Roy and things went their way on Thursday too. The RedHawks blew past the Royals 3-0.

One reason for the win was Bountiful's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Connor Burleson and Landon Chism, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Kainoa Evans and his 27 assists. Burleson and Chism didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Bountiful has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Roy, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Bountiful wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Northridge on the 22nd. As for Roy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Bonneville on the 22nd.
