Basketball Game Preview: Fort Recovery Indians vs. Jay County Patriots

The Fort Recovery Indians will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Jay County Patriots at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Recovery is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Fort Recovery came up short against St. Henry on Thursday, falling 52-27.

Meanwhile, Jay County's game on Wednesday was all tied up 29-29 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northeastern.

Jay County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fort Recovery, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Fort Recovery against Jay County in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 59-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
