Pinewood Prep fought the good fight in their overtime game against John Paul II on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Golden Warrriors by a score of 2-1. Pinewood Prep's defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Izabelle Pesce, who's now up to 22 this season.

Pinewood Prep's loss dropped their record down to 15-4-1. As for John Paul II, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Pinewood Prep will head out to face off against Porter-Gaud at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Porter-Gaud will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pinewood Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for John Paul II, they will venture away from home to square off against Ashley Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
