Ramapo had won four straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 7-2 to make it five. They put the hurt on the Fair Lawn Cutters with a sharp 17-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

As for Fair Lawn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

For Fair Lawn's part, Maya Showfety made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Abby Watson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramapo will face off against Paramus at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Fair Lawn, they will venture away from home to square off against West Milford at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
