Baseball Recap: Las Vegas Comes Up Short

Las Vegas and Faith Lutheran squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Las Vegas had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 1-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Las Vegas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MICKEY MARTINEZ, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Faith Lutheran, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-14.

Coming up, Las Vegas will be playing in front of their home fans against Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Faith Lutheran, they will challenge Palo Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
