Basketball Recap: Maxwell Wildcats vs. Paxton Tigers

It was a proper cat-fight when Maxwell faced off against Paxton on Friday. The Maxwell Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Paxton Tigers. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Emory Christensen and Kristyn Cheek certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Christensen posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, while Cheek had seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Cheek is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
