Basketball Recap: Oakcrest's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Oakcrest was riding high fresh off their 68-38 takedown of Cape May County Tech last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oakcrest Falcons fell 56-43 to the Vineland Fighting Clan on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-50 back in January.

Oakcrest's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10. As for Vineland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Oakcrest will head out on the road to square off against Pleasantville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Vineland has already played their next matchup (against Toms River South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
