Football Recap: Edison Tigers vs. Bakersfield Drillers
Edison kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Bakersfield Drillers. The Tigers have struggled against the Drillers recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Brison Abbott went supernova for Bakersfield, rushing for 146 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. Elijah Cavazos was another key player, throwing for 179 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
Edison will face off against Clovis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bakersfield, they will take on Justin Garza at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
