Soccer Game Preview: Braswell vs. Lewisville

The Braswell Bengals are taking a road trip to square off against the Lewisville Farmers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewisville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Braswell, who comes in off a win.

Braswell took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Little Elm as Braswell made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bengals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Little Elm with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from James Betteridge, Micah Shittu, and Jean Izquiel.

Meanwhile, Lewisville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Marcus. That's two games in a row now that the Farmers have lost by just one goal.

Braswell's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lewisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
