Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kaylie Trinidad and Callie Hylton Lead Morehead to Victory + How To Watch

If Carver wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Morehead, they should've done a better job of containing Ella Wade. The Panthers blew past the Yellowjackets 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Wade, who had seven assists and six aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.3 aces per game.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Morehead was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-7, 25-15.

Morehead was led to victory by Callie Hylton and Kaylie Trinidad. Hylton had five aces, while Trinidad had four aces and one block.

They weren't the only good servers: Morehead was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Morehead and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for Carver, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
