Football Recap: Liberty Skates Past Foothill with Ease

Liberty won the last time they faced Foothill and things went their way on Friday too. The Liberty Patriots blew past the Foothill Falcons 48-6. Considering the Patriots have won three contests by more than 41 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Liberty's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kilolo Westerlund, who picked up 216 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Westerlund is crushing it when it comes to receiving yards: she's posted at least 131 every time she's taken the field this season. Trishelle Tucay also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, Foothill still got an impressive performance from Savannna Truax, who rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.5 points. As for Foothill, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 33-0 win against Green Valley on the 7th. As for Foothill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-0 victory against Cimarron-Memorial on the 7th.
