Basketball Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Dayspring Christian Academy lost against Bishop Machebeuf back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles took a blow against the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes, falling 79-36. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Buffaloes are ranked 63rd).

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Max Krehbiel, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Owen Mcclanahan was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 11 points.

Dayspring Christian Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10. As for Bishop Machebeuf, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Dayspring Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Kiowa at 4:30 p.m. As for Bishop Machebeuf, they will host Denver Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
