Lincolnton is a perfect 3-0 against East Gaston since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Wolves will get right back to it and host the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Lincolnton took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 69-58 victory over Stuart W. Cramer. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, East Gaston suffered their closest defeat since January 31st last Thursday. They fell just short of Mountain Island Charter by a score of 64-62.

Lincolnton will need to focus on slowing down Ramon De La Oz III, one of several East Gaston players who made an impact when they last played. He went 8-for-10 on his way to 24 points. Thanks to that strong game, De La Oz III now owns an excellent 51.6% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Murphy, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

East Gaston has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for Lincolnton, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Lincolnton strolled past East Gaston in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 72-54. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
