Basketball Recap: Trevor Allen's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Crofton over Pierce

Crofton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pierce Bluejays. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trevor Allen, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Tyson Jackson, who scored 12 points.

Crofton's record now sits at 3-15. As for Pierce, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-12.

Crofton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wausa at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Pierce will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Clarkson/Leigh at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
