Soccer Game Preview: Hebron vs. Coppell

The Hebron Hawks will square off against the Coppell Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hebron is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Flower Mound just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Jaguars could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept Hebron happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 22nd.

Their goal came courtesy of Alejandra Lopez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Coppell faced Marcus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cowboys fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 2-1. That makes it the first time this season Coppell have let down their home crowd.

Coppell's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2-1. Hebron's draw gives them a new season record of 10-3-1.
