El Primero has gone 7-1 against Design Tech recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The El Primero Lobos will take on the Design Tech Dragons at 8:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, El Primero narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past East Palo Alto Academy 4-3. Even though the Lobos got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jefferson Valdivia was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

El Primero hit East Palo Alto Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from David Ibarra (2), Angel Torres, and Juan Gamez.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Design Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They had just enough and edged KIPP Esperanza out 4-3.

Design Tech's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for El Primero, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-2.

El Primero took their victory against Design Tech in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for El Primero since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
