Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Comes Up Short

Harrisburg lost against Elmira last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Harrisburg Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 39-33 to the Elmira Falcons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harrisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Elmira, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will challenge Sisters at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elmira, they will square off against Pleasant Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Hill will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Elmira surely won't give up without a fight.
