Corry faced Warren in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Beavers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Dragons. This was a revenge game for the Beavers: when they faced off against the Dragons last Saturday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Grace Allen paced Corry's offense, picking up eight kills. Allen got some help from Haley Mumau and her 14 assists.

The win made it two in a row for Corry and bumps their season record up to 37-1-7. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 29-5-5.

Corry has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Maplewood on the 18th. As for Warren, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Cochranton on the 18th.
