Basketball Recap: Bangor Slaters vs. Palisades Pirates
If Palisades wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bangor, they should've done a better job of containing Avery Nelson. The Bangor Slaters enjoyed a cozy 45-31 victory over the Palisades Pirates on Saturday thanks in part to Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bangor's points.
